The Rosewood Nature Study Area Educator will primarily assist in the growth of the Rosewood Nature Study Area education programs through the development of STEAM curriculum, educational exhibits and material, service learning projects utilizing outdoor classroom space, and teaching education programs at the Nature Study Area.

The Rosewood Nature Study Area Visitor Center Host will primarily assist in the growth of the Rosewood NSA Visitor Center through the development of educational exhibits and material, providing interpretation to visiting guests and school groups, and providing interpretive tours throughout the wetland.

This AmeriCorps member will assist with the development and implementation of the Student Stewards Outdoor STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) camps for economically disadvantaged students and participate in our partnership with Burton’s CHILL Foundation.

Help students form connections to the natural world and spark their curiosity with hands-on STEAM inquiry! Naturalist Educators will primarily assist with the implementation and growth of TMPF’s Student Stewards education programs by leading in-class and outdoor hands-on science exploration for local students and families.

The Beautifications and Cleanups Coordinator AmeriCorps will work to implement and enhance KTMB’s programs and community outreach initiatives. The Beautifications and Cleanups Coordinator AmeriCorps will also work to coordinate, train and support the recognition of volunteers. KTMB’s volunteer program is multifaceted and volunteers serve in a variety of ways; as Board and committee members, Project Leaders, special event volunteers, and one-time and repeat volunteers. KTMB volunteers are of all ages, from all walks of life, and from diverse neighborhoods in the Truckee Meadows. They have a hundred different day jobs, but they all come together to participate in KTMB’s cleanup initiatives.

The Garden Development Assistant is a core member of the Soulful Seeds team. The position will contribute to work that is increasing access to fresh, healthy food and nutrition education among vulnerable populations by developing and maintaining neighborhood gardens in high-need communities.

The Farm and Food Security Assistant will serve as a core member of the 2024 farm team, and will assist with coordination of the Farm to Food Pantry program at DFI.
