Service Positions with the Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation

The Resource Development Coordinator VISTA will primarily research/write grants and develop a fundraising plan to support Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation’s Healthy Parks, Healthy People programs and events. 

The Community Engagement Coordinator VISTA will recruit, train, and retain volunteers for the “Healthy Parks Healthy People” programs and events.

The Naturalist Educator, an AmeriCorps position, will primarily build and enhance the Student Stewards Program, which uses public parks as learning laboratories where students engage in hands-on citizen science. 

The Wetland Restoration Lead Technician will primarily assist in the development of the Truckee Meadows Nature Study Area through leadership, research design, field duties, and data collection and analysis.

The Wetland Restoration Technician will primarily assist in the development of the Truckee Meadows Nature Study Area through research design, hands on field projects, and data collection and analysis.
