Directions: From Reno, head south on Hwy. 580/US 395. Take exit 56 for NV 431/Mt. Rose Hwy.Travel up Mt. Rose Highway until it turns from four lanes to two lanes. Not far beyond that, turn right into Galena Creek Recreation Area (same entrance for the Visitor's Center). Follow the park road straight until it turns into a one-way loop. Enter the loop and drive to the farthest point out. We'll see you in the parking lot!
