Building Trails; Inspiring Connections

Join the Parks Foundation this Giving Tuesday to build trails and inspire connections at the future Truckee Meadows Nature Study Area. On this day of giving, people throughout the globe are united through kindness, and philanthropy.
This year, your contribution will be put to work buying GPS survey equipment, trail cams and other essential supplies as we build new walking and interpretive nature trails in the future Nature Study Area. Every donation makes a difference as we work towards reaching our $3,000 goal!
As part of the Wetland Restoration Program, the Parks Foundation is working to establish and steward a publicly accessible Great Basin wetland habitat where the community can learn about, engage with, and enjoy the flourishing wetland around them.
Your contribution creates more opportunities for children, adults, and seniors to learn, grow, and connect at the Truckee Meadows Nature Study Area.
A gift today builds a path for our future.
How can I make a donation to support this campaign?
A: Donations can be made through our Facebook Fundraiser or through PayPal! PayPal donations DO NOT require a PayPal account and can be made using a credit or debit card. Feel free to contact us with any questions!
Do I have to wait until December to make a donation?
A: Nope! The sooner you donate, the sooner we will be able to reach our $3,000 goal. Even though Giving Tuesday falls on December 3rd, donations can be made at any time from now until December 4th. Every dollar gets us a little bit closer to building the Nature Study Area!
Where can I find updates about the Nature Study Area?
