Make Your Mark on the Wetland!

We're almost ready to open the nature study area to the public! Help the Parks Foundation finish the one-mile loop by this summer. Now, more than ever, this community needs local outdoor spaces.

Make a gift today to help complete this first step and open the proposed nature study area!

The nature study area is overrun with harmful plants like tall whitetop, purple loosestrife, musk thistle, and russian olive. The wetland team has been hard at work removing these pesky plants to get the space ready for native grasses and forces. With a gift of $300, you can seed one acre of the property with native plants.

Revegetate Native Species

The soon-to-open one-mile loop is just about ready but needs safety features to keep community members on route. This will also be an interpretive trail so signs will be placed throughout the trail to learn about this amazing space! With a gift of $120, you can purchase trail safety enhancements and for $800 you can install an interpretive sign.

Route the Trail

Bird populations have been declining for decades because of habitat loss, but with a restored wetland these flying friends can find a home. Species-specific bird boxes can help less aggressive birds create a safe nesting site away from predators. With a gift of $75, you can purchase one bird boxes for a flying family.
