Truckee Meadows Parks Foundation strives to provide their community members with rewarding and worthwhile opportunities to emphasize stewardship in our local parks. Volunteer events take place throughout the year in a conscious effort to mobilize motivated groups of individuals that want to make a positive impact on their parks, environment, and community.

Fall Plantemonium
2023
In October at the Rosewood Nature Study Area we held our annual Fall Plantemonium! We had a great time spending the morning planting native plants into the wetlands in order to restore the natural ecosystem and reduce invasive species.

Rosewood Nature Study Area is looking to increase its weekend visitation by introducing volunteer-led programming on Saturdays.
